Congratulations to everyone who finished the Bone Bender. It was a real challenge with the rain we got Saturday morning which turned the 10 mile course into a mud pit.

Race ON!

The Bone Bender 3/6 hour is running rain or shine. The awesome Smithville Trail Crew is prepping the course today and hoping the rain stays south as predicted right now. We may get some precipitation, but we will be running the race either way. We've got 70+ registered racers so we will probably see the field swell to well over 125 by race time.

Race day registration opens at 9:30 am.
Race meeting at 11:45 am.
Mass start (3 and 6 hour) at 12:00 Noon.

Camping for the Bone Bender

Camping for the Bone Bender is available at the Camp Branch Campground. Camp Branch is located just 1 mile south of the race site (Sail Boat Cove). More info is available by calling 816.407.3400 or visiting one of the below sites.

The Inaugural Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey is this weekend. The Smithville Trail crew will be out this week making sure the course is in first class condition and ready for Saturday's big event.

Bone Bender Course Map

Course map for the upcoming Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey is below.

Course Length: 11.02 miles
Course Elevation: 1,266 feet per lap
Estimated lap times: 55 min to 75 min lap times depending on ability level.
Course consist of 9 miles of single track, 1.5 miles of pave' and .5 mile of grass.

Bone Bender Set for April 18th

We got word today that there is some crazy rumor that the Bone Bender is changing dates. This is completely false.

The Bone Bender 3/6 Hour MTB Odyssey is on for Saturday April 18th, 2009. Registration opens at 9:00am. Rider meeting at 11:45am. Mass Start (Solo and teams) at 12:00 noon.

The Smithville Trail crew has done a great job of repairing the trails from the recent onslaught of rains.

Race bible, with complete details and course maps, will be available next week.
